  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sift to avoid clumps.
  • 2 tablespoons milk Whole milk works best.
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup Helps achieve a glossy icing finish.
  • mini chocolate chips For eyes and buttons.
  • orange candy slices or orange icing For the snowman's nose.
  • marshmallows Use large ones for the snowman heads.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the sugar cookie dough package instructions.
  2. Roll out the cookie dough onto a floured surface, about half an inch thick. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and bake until golden.
  3. Mix together powdered sugar, milk, and corn syrup in a bowl until smooth to prepare the icing.
Assembly
  1. Once the biscuits have cooled, use the icing to attach a marshmallow on top of each biscuit.
  2. Decorate with mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons, and use orange candy slices or icing for the nose.
  3. Allow the icing to set before serving.

Notes

Chill the dough if sticky; use a piping bag for detailed icing work. Experiment with toppings and variations like adding spices or nuts to the dough.
