- In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Mix in the food coloring and vanilla extract until the mixture is a fleshy pink color.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Bubbles until well coated.
- Grease your hands with cooking spray. While the mixture is warm but not hot, shape into brain-like ovals and carve grooves using a skewer or knife.
- Place on a lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
Notes
Customize with different extracts, add candy eyes or drizzle with red icing for extra creepiness. Store in a sealed container for up to 3 days. Not recommended for freezing.
