Preparation
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Customize with spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variation.
