  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated Use freshly grated for better flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh basil

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and sear them in the skillet until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  8. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Serve Marry Me Chicken hot over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat as needed, adding cream or broth if it thickens too much.
