Preparation
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Sear chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Cooking
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to burst.
- Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, oregano, and basil. Bring to a simmer.
- Add chicken back to the skillet and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and cook for about 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Serve Marry Me Chicken over pasta or rice to absorb the sauce. Add extra Parmesan for creaminess. For leftovers, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days.
