  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Divide the dough into two portions. Tint one portion with pink gel food coloring.
  7. Take small pieces from both colored portions and roll them together to create a marbled effect.
  8. Roll the dough out to your desired thickness and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
  9. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
