- Start by washing and peeling the carrots. Cut them into uniform sticks, about 2-3 inches long, for even cooking. Nestle the carrots in your slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the glaze over the carrots and gently stir to ensure every piece is coated evenly.
Cooking
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 4-5 hours.
- Stir occasionally to help coat the carrots evenly and ensure no sticky bottoms.
- Once they are fork-tender, sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for a pop of color.
Notes
These glazed carrots can last in the fridge for 4-5 days in an airtight container. You can also freeze them, but be aware the texture may change slightly. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
