- While the meatloaf bakes, cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.

- Gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dry mustard. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
Combining Layers
- Combine cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and pour over the meatloaf layer. Top with the remaining cheese.
Final Baking
- Bake for an additional 25 minutes or until bubbly.
Notes
Make sure to cook the macaroni al dente, so it doesn’t get mushy when baking. Feel free to add extra spices or herbs to the meat mixture for more flavor. You can use different types of cheese if you want to switch things up.
