Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- In a second dish, beat together the eggs and milk.
- Place the flour in a third dish.
- Take each chicken breast and dredge it in the flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the browned chicken into a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella cheese and minced garlic. Top the cooked chicken with this cheese mixture.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until fully cooked.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust the seasoning to your preference; add more garlic or herbs for extra flavor. Ensure the oil is hot before adding the chicken for a good sear.
