Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Filling

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded muenster cheese
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon for Bacon & Cheese Puffs
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni for Pepperoni Puffs
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  • Add warm water and olive oil, then knead until a smooth dough forms.
  • Cover the dough and let it rise for 30–45 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
  • Cut the dough into 3×3-inch squares.
  • Place a teaspoon of pizza sauce and a generous pinch of cheese onto each square.
  • Add pepperoni, bacon, or herbs, depending on your preferred flavor.
  • Fold each square into a triangle or ball, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Arrange the puffs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Experiment with different fillings like sausage, mushrooms, or jalapeños for a personalized touch!
