Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until completely liquid. Add in the lemon juice and garlic powder, mixing well for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Place the tilapia fillets in a baking dish in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
Cooking
  1. Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the fillets, ensuring all are coated.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Slide the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking and consider doubling the recipe for larger gatherings. This dish can also be made with salmon, shrimp, or various mild white fishes.
