  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated Fresh ginger or ginger paste can be used.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium if desired.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Fresh, hot rice recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Can use sesame oil for added flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Cooking Beef
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until it is browned and all moisture has evaporated.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, stirring for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, stir to combine, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the mixture to bubble slightly, thickening for another 2-3 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve the beef mixture generously over the cooked rice.
  2. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy your delicious creation!

Notes

To store leftovers, use an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop. Consider adding sesame seeds or chili flakes for extra flavor.
