Ingredients
  

For the fish
  • 4 pieces tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with melted butter or avocado oil.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Can substitute with lime juice.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and place them on a greased baking dish, evenly spaced.
Flavor Mixture
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the tilapia fillets.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

If freezing, wrap cooled tilapia tightly and store for about 2 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain moisture.
