  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 1 cup Jam (any flavor for filling) Experiment with flavors like raspberry, apricot, or strawberry.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg yolks and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and salt until a dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Use your thumb (or the back of a round teaspoon) to make an indentation in the center of each ball.
  7. Fill each indentation with a small amount of jam.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  2. Allow to cool before serving.
