  • 4 pieces Tortillas Flour or whole wheat works great.
  • 16 oz Rotisserie Chicken (chopped or shredded) Grab it pre-cooked for convenience.
  • 2 TB Fresh Basil (chopped or chiffonade) Fresh basil elevates this dish with its aromatic warmth.
  • 1 cup Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese Grate it yourself for the best texture.
  • 1/2 jar Pizza Sauce (about 135 grams) Adds a burst of flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and spray with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
  2. Place one tortilla on the skillet.
  3. Add cooked chicken, fresh basil, mozzarella, and pizza sauce on one half of the tortilla.
  4. Cook for a few minutes until cheese begins to melt, and the tortilla starts to brown.
  5. Flip the half of the tortilla without toppings onto the half with toppings.
  6. Cook for an additional minute, then flip again until browned and cheese is fully melted.
  7. Cut into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Don't overstuff the quesadilla to prevent spills. Experiment with heat for extra crispiness and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
