- In a small saucepan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add 1/4 cup of milk and stir until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the remaining milk.

- Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use whole milk or add a splash of cream. You can mix in cinnamon or peppermint for a twist.
