  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Adds flavor and helps with emulsification.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Add more or less based on preference.
Seasoning and Optional Ingredients

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the honey, fresh lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Whisk together until well mixed, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously. Keep whisking until the mixture is fully emulsified and smooth, which should take around 2-3 minutes.
  3. Season your dressing with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. If you’re adding fresh herbs and lemon zest, stir them into the mixture now.
  5. Serve the Honey Lemon Vinaigrette immediately over your favorite salad or store it for later use.

Notes

For optimal freshness, store leftover dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For freezing, use ice cube trays; it lasts about 2-3 months.
