Ingredients

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets skin-on recommended for extra crispness
Honey Glaze
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil plus more for cooking
  • black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Non-stick Skillet

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and black pepper to make the glaze.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of olive oil. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  3. Flip salmon fillets and pour glaze over them. Simmer and spoon glaze over the fish while it reduces for about 5-6 minutes.
  4. Once the glaze is sticky and salmon is fully cooked, remove from heat and serve with desired sides.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Glaze can be prepared in advance. Salmon should be opaque and flake easily when done. Store leftovers in fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
