Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, sweet paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, kosher salt, and black pepper to make the seasoning blend.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic to make the sauce.
- Season pork tenderloins by rubbing the spice blend all over.
Cooking
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork tenderloins until browned on all sides, about 4 minutes.
- Turn off the stove, add the sauce to the pan, and coat the pork in the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 15 to 20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Let the pork rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then remove from the skillet.
- Simmer the remaining sauce on the stove for 1 to 2 minutes to reduce it.
- Slice the pork into 1/2-inch slices, arrange on a platter, drizzle with the sauce, and serve.
Notes
Serve warm with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes. This dish also makes great leftovers, so consider making extra for lunch the next day. Add red pepper flakes for heat, if desired. Letting the cooked pork rest helps keep it juicy.
