Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 large large chicken breasts Preferably boneless and skinless.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can be substituted with maple syrup or agave nectar.

Method

Cooking
  1. Sear the chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on each side. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in soy sauce and honey, stirring well to create the honey garlic sauce.
  4. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
  5. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the soy sauce and honey mixture for a few hours before cooking. Don't overcook the chicken; use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). You can add your favorite vegetables while the chicken simmers.
