- Sear the chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce and honey, stirring well to create the honey garlic sauce.
- Return the seared chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
- Let it simmer until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the soy sauce and honey mixture for a few hours before cooking. Don't overcook the chicken; use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). You can add your favorite vegetables while the chicken simmers.
