Main Ingredients
  • 32 oz frozen pre-cooked meatballs (beef, turkey, or chicken) You can use any variety of pre-cooked meatballs.
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (e.g., Franks Red Hot) Adjust the amount for heat preference.
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp prepared yellow mustard

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add frozen meatballs to the insert of your slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the hot sauce, honey, brown sugar, and yellow mustard. Stir well until combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker, and stir to coat them well.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on LOW for 2.5 to 3 hours, or on HIGH for about 1 hour.
  2. While the meatballs are cooking, stir them occasionally to make sure the sauce doesn’t burn.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with minced fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra heat, add more hot sauce. Stir meatballs occasionally during cooking. For a thicker sauce, mix in cornstarch dissolved in water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
