Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Use ground beef with higher fat content (like 80/20) for juicier burgers.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and minced onion (secret ingredients) Can experiment with other secret ingredients.
  • 4 pieces burger buns
  • Toppings (e.g., lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles) Customize toppings to suit dietary preferences.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and minced onion. Stir gently to mix, taking care not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indent with your thumb in the center of each burger.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill or a stovetop skillet over medium-high heat, approximately 375°F.
  2. Carefully place the patties on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. Once cooked, remove the burgers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve the burgers hot on the toasted buns, topped with your choice of ingredients such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, or pickles.

Notes

For the ultimate enjoyment, pair with crispy fries, fresh salad, or coleslaw. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze them for longer storage.
