Ingredients
  

For the brownies
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 85 g white chocolate Can substitute with milk chocolate if needed.
  • 70 g oil Vegetable or canola oil can be used.
  • 300 g granulated sugar
  • 50 g light brown sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar.
  • 4 g salt
  • 3 pieces eggs
  • 75 g all-purpose flour
  • 30 g hojicha powder Adjust based on desired strength of flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Mixing
  1. Melt white chocolate and butter in the microwave. Add oil and mix with a whisk.
  2. Add all the sugar and eggs. Whisk the mixture until it is fully combined.
  3. Sift the flour and hojicha powder into the mixture.
  4. Fold and mix with a spatula gently.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  2. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting it.

Notes

These brownies can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a sprinkle of sea salt. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or refrigerate for a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month.
