  • 2 tablespoons Butter, Melted Adds richness and a golden color.
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy Seeds (Optional) For crunch and visual appeal.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the sweet rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves snugly in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced ham generously on top of the rolls, followed by the sliced cheese.
  4. Drizzle the honey-mustard sauce evenly over the ham and cheese.
  5. Place the tops of the sweet rolls back on top of the fillings.
  6. Brush the melted butter generously over the tops of the sliders and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
  2. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melting and the tops are golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, cut into squares and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh rolls for best texture. Experiment with cheeses and add veggies for nutrition. Let sliders rest briefly after baking for easier cutting.
