Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer the Canadian bacon and Havarti cheese.
- Spread pesto on top of the cheese, then place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
Cooking
- Place the sandwich on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
If you have leftovers, let the sandwich cool down to room temperature, then wrap it in plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To enjoy it later, you can reheat it in the oven or on a skillet until warmed through.
