- In a large pot, combine the chicken or vegetable broth and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and soy sauce to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- Carefully add the frozen gyoza into the boiling broth. Cook them for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the top.
- Once the gyoza are cooked, add the spinach and chopped green onions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the greens are wilted.
- Drizzle the sesame oil into the soup and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and ladle the soup into bowls.
Notes
Serve Gyoza Soup hot, garnished with extra chopped green onions or a sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired. Pair it with a simple salad or some rice for a complete meal. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm it on the stove or in the microwave.
