  • 2 pieces ripe avocados Choose perfectly ripe avocados.
  • 1 small tomato, diced Add for freshness and color.
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Can replace with parsley if desired.
  • 1 piece lime, juiced Helps prevent browning.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or to your desired consistency.
  3. Add the diced tomato, chopped cilantro, and lime juice to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately as a dip with tortilla chips or as an appetizer.
  2. If serving later, cover with plastic wrap pressed directly against the guacamole to minimize oxidation.

Notes

Enjoy with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, nachos, or grilled chicken. Can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
