Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups grapes (red and green, halved) Look for fresh, firm grapes.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Use full-fat cream cheese for richer taste.
  • ½ cup powdered sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup whipped topping A flavored whipped topping can enhance richness.
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional) Consider pecans, walnuts, or slivered almonds.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer to blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes, ensuring there are no lumps.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping using a rubber spatula until fully incorporated. The mixture should be fluffy and creamy.
  3. Add the halved grapes and chopped nuts (if using) to the cream cheese mixture. Stir carefully until the grapes are well coated, taking about 1 minute.
  4. Serve immediately for the freshest taste, or refrigerate until you’re ready to serve, up to 2 hours later.

Notes

Grape Salad is best served chilled. For an appealing presentation, serve it in a large glass bowl. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats.
