Chicken and Marinade
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs You can use chicken breasts or drumsticks as alternatives.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons furikake seasoning Or substitute with a homemade version using toasted sesame seeds and seaweed flakes.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to your preference.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together garlic powder, furikake seasoning, salt, pepper, olive oil, soy sauce, and honey.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden-brown crust.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy with sides like steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning mixture for a few hours or overnight before baking. For a crunchier texture, broil the chicken for a few minutes at the end of baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
