Ingredients
  

For the Pickles
  • 4 cups Cucumbers, sliced Pick firm, small to medium cucumbers for the best texture.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Freshly minced for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup Fresh Dill, chopped Brings an aromatic quality.
  • 1 cup White Vinegar Or your favorite vinegar for pickling.
  • 1 cup Water To dilute the vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar To balance the acidity of vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon Sea Salt Enhances all the flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice cucumbers into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and chopped fresh dill to the marinade.
  4. Place cucumber slices into a clean jar and pour the marinade over them.
  5. Seal the jar tightly and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

These cucumbers get better with time, making them ideal for make-ahead meal prep. They can be served at picnics or alongside grilled meats. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
