Preparation
- Start by generously seasoning both sides of your pork chops with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Cooking
- Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the pork chops from the pan and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, swirling until melted and fragrant.
- Return the pork chops to the pan and spoon the garlic butter over them for about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Let the pork chops rest after cooking to retain their juices. Use a meat thermometer to ensure pork is cooked to 145°F.
