Preparation
  1. Start by generously seasoning both sides of your pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Cooking
  1. Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Remove the pork chops from the pan and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, swirling until melted and fragrant.
  4. Return the pork chops to the pan and spoon the garlic butter over them for about 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let the pork chops rest after cooking to retain their juices. Use a meat thermometer to ensure pork is cooked to 145°F.
