Preparation
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Once bubbling, add your spaghetti (or preferred noodles). Cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While your pasta cooks, melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced fresh garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned—about 1-2 minutes.
- Once your noodles are cooked, reserve about a cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Toss the drained noodles directly into the skillet with garlic butter.
- Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the hot noodles while tossing them in the skillet. Drizzle a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired creamy consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Finally, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for color and freshness before serving. Toss everything together and serve warm.
Notes
Don’t overcook the noodles. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Remember to reserve pasta water.
