Ingredients

Pasta
  • 8 oz spaghetti or your favorite pasta Choose a pasta shape that hugs the sauce well—like fettuccine or linguine for more delightful bites!
Butter and Garlic
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Unsalted butter gives you control over the seasoning, enhancing those lovely garlic notes perfectly.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Feel free to adjust the quantity! More garlic means more goodness, but be careful not to overpower the dish.
Cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated cheese melts better and adds a richer flavor than pre-packaged options.

Method

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Toss in the spaghetti or preferred pasta, cooking it until al dente—about 8-10 minutes—depending on the package instructions. Drain the noodles and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden and fills the kitchen with a rich, nutty aroma.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden. Be cautious not to let it burn.
  4. Gently toss the drained pasta in the skillet with the garlic butter, coating every strand.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and envelops the noodles.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper as needed.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor variations, consider adding sautéed vegetables, cooked protein like chicken or shrimp, and a pinch of red pepper flakes for spice. This dish can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or frozen for longer storage.
