Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds beef (such as sirloin or chuck), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups baby potatoes, halved
Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a slow cooker, add the beef and halved baby potatoes, spreading them evenly across the bottom.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring gently for about 5 minutes until it becomes liquid gold.
  3. Add in the minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the melted butter. Stir until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef and potatoes in the slow cooker, ensuring they are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender and the potatoes can be easily pierced with a fork.
  2. Before serving, garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Notes

Serve hot with crusty bread or a refreshing salad. For added flavor, consider grated cheese or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
