Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Roasting
- Roast in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crisp.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
- Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
Notes
For best results, serve warm right out of the oven. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-5 days. To reheat, use a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
