Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix with the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just blended, avoiding overmixing.
  5. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and centers are soft.

Notes

For best results, chill the dough for about 30 minutes. Store dough in refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
