Method

Preparation
  1. Drain the mozzarella balls well and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: mix flour, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning in the first; beat eggs in the second; and combine breadcrumbs with 2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp salt in the third.
  3. Coat the mozzarella balls by dipping them into flour, then egg, and finally rolling them in breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, dip them back in the egg and breadcrumbs.
Freezing

Frying
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry the mozzarella balls in small batches for 60-90 seconds until golden brown.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to drain them on a paper towel-lined plate and immediately sprinkle with salt, parmesan, and parsley.
Serving
  1. Serve the fried mozzarella balls warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Keep oil hot for crispy texture, and consider serving alongside a fresh arugula salad or garlic bread.
