  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Adds richness and creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use seasoned breadcrumbs for added flavor.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Helps the coating stick.
  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten well for binding.
  • to taste salt and pepper For flavor enhancement.
  • Oil for frying Use vegetable or canola oil.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls or bites, about golf ball size.
  3. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each bite in flour, dip it into the eggs, and coat it thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pan until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry the bites in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

Use cold ingredients to help the bites hold their shape while frying. Don’t overcrowd the fryer; fry in small batches for perfect crispiness.
