Ingredients
  

Garlic Herb Butter Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced or grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon zest optional

Method
 

  1. Let the butter sit at room temperature until soft and spreadable.
  2. Finely mince garlic and chop all herbs.
  3. Combine softened butter, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, and lemon zest (if using) in a bowl. Mix until evenly blended.
  4. Serve immediately or shape into a log on parchment paper, roll and chill for 30 minutes.

Notes

For a stronger garlic flavor, let the butter rest overnight. Customize with red pepper flakes, Parmesan, or citrus zest variations.
