Preparation
  1. Start by cooking the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once they're tender, drain them and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until they turn a rich, golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  3. Once your onions are caramelized, stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Push the onions to one side and add the sliced beef to the other side. Cook until browned.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, stirring everything together.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded Gruyère on top, cover the skillet, and let it sit until the cheese melts.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving. Scoop into bowls and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t rush the onions to achieve the best caramelization. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses for a twist.
