Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Layer generous portions of roast beef and Swiss cheese on the bottom halves of the buns.
- Top with a heaping amount of caramelized onions, distributing evenly.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the fillings to create sliders.
Baking
- In a small bowl, melt butter, then mix in garlic powder and pepper. Brush this mixture over the tops of the sliders.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, watching until the cheese is melted, and the buns are golden brown.
Serving
- Serve warm with a side of au jus sauce for dipping.
Notes
These sliders are best enjoyed hot, right out of the oven. Consider serving them on a wooden board or in a shallow basket lined with parchment paper for a rustic presentation. Pair with crispy fries, fresh salad, or coleslaw.
