Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a pot of boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside—don’t rinse it.
- In your favorite baking dish, toss together the cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the block of feta cheese right in the center of the dish.
Baking
- Slide your dish into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the tomatoes blister and the feta begins to soften.
Combine and Serve
- Remove the dish from the oven and stir, mixing the tomatoes and feta into a creamy sauce.
- Add the penne pasta and gently fold everything together.
Garnish
- Sprinkle fresh basil on top before serving.
