Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1/2 cup shrimp tempura Can be substituted with other cooked seafood or omitted.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Nori sheets For serving.
  • Sesame seeds For garnish.
  • Green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crab meat, mayonnaise, and sriracha until well combined.
  3. In a baking dish, spread the cooked sushi rice evenly at the bottom.
  4. Add the crab mixture on top of the rice, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Layer with shrimp tempura and drizzle with soy sauce.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  2. Garnish with nori sheets, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve the Sushi Bake hot from the oven. Cut it into squares for easy serving. Pair with pickled ginger and soy sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
