Ingredients
Method
Prepare the Sauce
- Combine all the burger sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Prep the Beef
- In a bowl, mix the salt and pepper together. Sprinkle this over the ground beef and gently divide into small 2 1/2 ounce balls.
- Place the beef balls on a plate and refrigerate.
Cook the Tacos
- Preheat a flat top grill on high heat without grease until very hot.
- Place each beef ball on the grill and top with a tortilla. Smash down to flatten the meat.
- Cook for about 1 minute, then press down again.
- Let tacos cook for 2 to 3 minutes without moving them.
- Check if the meat is browned; if not, increase heat. Flip and cook tortilla side for another 2 minutes.
- Add cheese on top, allowing it to melt as the tortillas cook.
Serve
- Remove from grill, add the burger sauce and your favorite toppings, and enjoy.
Notes
Best served fresh with additional toppings on the side. Ensure the grill is hot before adding beef for the best crust. Avoid over-handling the ground beef for tenderness. Toppings can be customized based on preference.
