Ingredients
  

For the Turtles
  • 2 cups Pecans Toast for enhanced flavor.
  • 14 ounces Soft Caramels Use for easy melting.
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet or dark chocolate recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt For sprinkling on top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Toast the pecans on a baking sheet for about 8-10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Melt the caramels in a saucepan over low heat with a splash of cream until smooth.
  2. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, create clusters of three pecans.
  3. Spoon a dollop of melted caramel on top of each cluster.
  4. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then drizzle over the caramel.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt before the chocolate sets.
  6. Allow to cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate to set quickly.

Notes

These turtles can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. They can also be frozen for up to a month.
