Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour Spoon flour into cup and level it off to avoid overpacking.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Ensure at room temperature for better texture.
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs Make sure they are at room temperature.
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup M&M’s (seasonal) Can customize colors for different occasions.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles Use festive sprinkles.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, incorporating each fully before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Mixing the Dough
  1. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  2. Fold in the M&M’s, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between cookies.
  2. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the centers are slightly soft.
  3. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for 5-7 days. Freeze individually for up to 3 months. You can make the dough in advance and refrigerate or freeze it.
