Ingredients
  

For the Bunny Strawberries
  • 8 strawberries Should be fresh and dried well
  • 4 oz white melting wafers Used for coating the strawberries and attaching decorations
  • 1 oz black melting wafers Used for drawing whiskers and mouth
  • 2 marshmallows Cut into shapes for bunny ears
  • 1 tablespoon pink sanding sugar sprinkles For decorating the marshmallow ears
  • 16 candy eyeballs For the eyes of the bunnies
  • 8 heart sprinkles For bunny noses
For the Carrot Strawberries
  • 4 oz orange melting wafers Used for coating the carrot strawberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the strawberries and dry them very well.
  2. Melt the white candy wafers in the microwave at 50 percent power for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 10-second increments, stirring after each time, until smooth.
  3. Dip the dry strawberries in the melted white candy coating and place them on a piece of parchment paper.
  4. Cut the marshmallows in half. Then, cut slices off each half. Dip the marshmallow pieces in pink sanding sugar sprinkles.
  5. Use the white melted candy wafers to attach the ears to the coated strawberries.
  6. Attach the candy eyeballs using the white melted candy wafers.
  7. Melt the black candy wafers in the microwave and, using a toothpick, draw whiskers, a mouth, and teeth on the bunnies.
  8. Attach heart sprinkles for bunny noses using melted white candy wafers.
For Carrot Strawberries
  1. Melt the orange candy wafers in the microwave at 50 percent power for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 10-second increments, stirring after each time, until smooth.
  2. Dip the dry strawberries in the melted orange candy coating and place them on a piece of parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle additional orange candy coating over the strawberries to create the look of the ridges you would see on a carrot.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for 2-3 days in an airtight container covered with waxed paper. Make sure to dry the strawberries well before dipping them in the candy coating for proper sticking. You can customize decorations using different colors of melting wafers and other fruits.
