Preparation
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the kataifi and cook, stirring constantly until it is browned and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the pistachio butter and the optional tahini. Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
Chocolate Preparation
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.
Assembly
- Take four clear 12-ounce cups and place 8 strawberry halves at the bottom of each cup.
- Drizzle with about 2 tablespoons of melted chocolate.
- Top with about 3 tablespoons of the kataifi filling.
- Repeat the layers with more strawberry halves, kataifi filling, melted chocolate, and crushed pistachios.
- Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Notes
Make sure the kataifi is cooked until crispy for texture. Adjust sweetness by altering chocolate amount. Consider vanilla extract for added flavor.
