Preparation
- Wash all the strawberries and dry them thoroughly.
- Slice each strawberry in half lengthwise, and cut off the hump on the back of each half so they lay flat.
- Place the halved strawberries on a baking sheet and set them aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour in the heavy whipping cream and whip the mixture until it thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.
- Transfer the cheesecake filling into a piping or Ziploc bag. Fill each strawberry half with the creamy mixture.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top before serving.
Notes
Serve Deviled Strawberries on a nice platter. Drizzle with chocolate sauce for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days, but best eaten within a day for optimal flavor and texture. Variations include adding different flavors like lemon or almond extract, or using other fruits like raspberries or bananas.
