Ingredients
  

Cheese Base
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened for easy mixing) Make sure it's softened for easier mixing.
  • 0.5 cup Sour Cream (Can substitute with Greek yogurt) Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 cup Medium Cheddar Cheese (Can substitute with sharp cheddar) Sharp cheddar can be used for more flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Ranch Seasoning Mix Adjust according to taste.
Coating and Decorations
  • 1 cup Pecans (Can substitute with walnuts or almonds) Feel free to change the type of nuts based on preference.
  • 2 pcs Black Olives Used to represent the eyes.
  • 1 pcs Cherry Tomato Represents the reindeer's nose.
  • 2 pcs Pretzels Function as antlers; use gluten-free pretzels if needed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream (or Greek yogurt) until smooth.
  2. Add the medium cheddar cheese and ranch seasoning mix. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  4. Once the cheese ball is firm, remove it from the refrigerator. Roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans for a crunchy coating.
Serving
  1. Place the cheese ball on a serving platter. Use black olives for the eyes, a cherry tomato for the nose, and pretzels for antlers.

Notes

Store any leftover cheese ball in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 5 days. Cover with plastic wrap to keep it from drying out. You can make the cheese ball a day ahead for convenience.
